Notes for Bridges Arrendell, Jr.
Bridges Arrendell, Jr. served in Civil War as a Lieutenant in Company
C, Tenth Regiment, North Carolina Troops, Confederate Sates of America.
He was the first mayor of Morehead City, a position that he held for
23 years. He later died in a boiler explosion while working as a
railroad conductor.
