Notes for Bridges Arrendell

Bridges Arrendell was a Methodist minister, and left his native
Franklin County, NC for the town of Beaufort, Carteret County, NC in
1807, where he was a "circuit rider". He became a postmaster and town
commissioner in 1814. In 1816, he was commissioned and served for many
years as the Justice in the Carteret County Court. - From the Heritage
